INSPIRING YOUTH TO BE SUCCESSFUL LIFELONG LEARNERS

Asap Program

The purpose of the ASAP Program is to provide a safe, structured, fun after school program to students in elementary school.

Teach Program

Mentor/tutoring is the matching of a student receiving one or more below average grades with a volunteer.

Health Education

Since 2007, GECAC has incorporated health education as a fundamental piece within all 13 of our After School Advantage Program (ASAP) sites.

Steam/Stem Education

The main purpose of STEAM/STEM is to develop the cognitive skills of students through lessons in teamwork, drawing, and experimenting with different ways to build and construct.

Mission Statement

We believe every child should be given a chance to be successful. We further believe that community volunteers; working as academic mentors and tutors, together with the school districts will provide assistance to children struggling in school the opportunity to improve academically and become successful lifelong learners. It is our mission to give every child a chance!

Volunteer Statement

A student that is challenged in school will be challenged in life.  By volunteering to mentor/tutor a child to read, write, and learn you can discover your power with just one hour.  Volunteer and change a life. Your Time – Their Future!
